How PA DECA
is structured & led.

Pennsylvania DECA is led by a paid executive team and governed by a Board of Directors representing each of our twelve districts. We operate under a charter from DECA Inc., established in 1960.

Joshua Nulph

Executive Director

A PA DECA member since 2012, Josh started in high school and served as PA DECA State Vice President. His volunteer roles have included Chapter Officer Summit Coordinator and Written Event Coordinator. An entrepreneur, he owns a digital marketing and website development agency serving clients nationwide.

Emily Eckenrode

Director of Operations

Emily runs PA DECA's day-to-day operations - the logistics, systems, and details behind every conference and program across the Commonwealth.

Alyssa George

Treasurer / Secretary

Involved with PA DECA since 2015 at Bethel Park High School, Alyssa has managed production at SCDC since her student years. She graduated from Penn State University in 2022 with degrees in Finance and Management Information Systems and currently works in Analytics for DICK'S Sporting Goods.

Founded over 75 years ago, DECA is an international association of more than 260,000 high school and college students across 4,000+ chapters preparing for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.

Pennsylvania DECA was chartered in 1960 and operates under a charter from DECA Inc. (Reston, VA), aligning with national standards on competitive events, curriculum, and the comprehensive learning program that drives student success.
